Gracie is running for the middle school in town. This was her 2nd ever track meet. Her best race is the 1600m (or 1 mile). Today? She got her best time. AND! She broke the school record! So if you want to beat the time for the 1600m run at this school, you'll have to beat 5:40.78. :)
(and yes, she's still homeschooled)

I thought these next two were funny. This was the start of the first lap. Look at their form- the same!

This was the end of the first lap. The guy in front started off REALLY fast (his coach yelled at him to slow down! I think he's normally a sprinter).
This was the end of the second lap. These two were in the lead at this point.
I must not have taken a picture of the third lap but here they are on their last. Tristan in first (a very nice young man/teammate of Gracie's and a great runner!), Gracie in second & you can see how far back the guy in 3rd is by the time they finished. (the little speck right above "3rd" in red) Tristan beat Gracie by 10 seconds.
