State Fair

Alek played goalie for a little while in his game on Tuesday!

No, really, I was watching his game. The beautiful scenery didn't distract me at all! (Alek didn't get as much play time tonight!)

Okay, so you'll have to give me a break on this one. I know it's not a great picture, but I really wanted to get a shot of all 5 decked out for the fair! Well, all except Josiah. I did have a hat he could've worn, but alas, he would not leave it on. Anyway, I had a husband nagging at me that we had to go and a 1 year old that only gave his mother 2/10 of a second to take a shot before he moved his little hiney onto more important things, like pointing to the fence- it was the best I could do. But here they are, just before we left!

I am surrounded by cowboy wannabes. ;)

My lil' cowboy. :) Yes, I know, his eyes are closed, but I love this shot of my Gabe. I love his little profile. And poor guy, having to reside on a webpage with a PINK background. LOL!

I think Gabe looks like George Strait! :) Here he was trying to give me a mean cowboy look, but I made him smile. MOM! And notice his belt buckle- it's the one he won at the Mutton Bustin' event at the state fair! Pretty cool, huh?

And here are a couple of our cats. They were snuggling together in this flower pot today & I couldn't resist.

Gracie is SEVEN!

Gracie's 7th birthday started off with her first soccer game! She did really good! And uh-oh, she says she likes soccer better than ballet!

She was a little shy or nervous at first but it didn't take her long to get into it!

This age group (7 & under) only plays with 4 players on the field at a time. The little mob follows the ball around everywhere!

I cannot believe my baby girl is seven years old. Time flies way too quickly. She is a sweet little girl, and with all the practice she gets around here, is going to make an awesome mommy someday. :) Happy 7th Birthday, Gracie!
