| This week in school we studied the Gold Rush, the Pony Express and the telegraph among other things. The children and Kenton (but mostly Kenton- okay so the children mostly watched- occasionally) built a working model telegraph! |

| We had a new student in our classroom today! He was a little big for the desks, but he didn't complain. He was eager to get started! |

| It was immediately apparent that he was gifted artistically. His teacher let the latte slide for today. | |

| His artistic talents drew the other students away from their work like magnets. They couldn't get enough of him nor his work! His masterpiece now resides on the coveted residential space known as the refrigerator door. |
