Mutton Bustin'

And she's off! So here it is. Mutton Bustin'. The peewee version of a rodeo. You had to be 6 years old or younger and 60 pounds or less to qualify. The point was to stay on the sheep for 6 seconds or longer. They were judged by how long they stayed on. Gracie stayed on for a second or two. Luckily it was Gracie's last day of being 6- one day later & she wouldn't have qualified! Gracie's my brave one. She's my pioneer. Nobody else would've even tried if Gracie had not led the way. Millie chickened out & at first, Gabe did not want to do it. Gracie's round was at 1:30pm & Gabe's was at 3:30pm- so it took that long to convince Gabe to do it. Gracie tried her best but didn't stay on it long. She fell and later said the sheep had stepped on her- didn't even cry! Luckily it didn't look so bad in person since it all happened so fast. Gracie got 4th place and a ribbon. ;)
